Still in PRL stage, Operated by Total E&P (PNG) Limited.
The Papua LNG Project will see the development of the Elk-Antelope gas field located in PRL 15 license in the Gulf Province, onshore PNG.
The field covers an area of approx. 14 km x 7 km and contains two disconnected condensate gas reservoirs of Eocene to Late Miocene age. Elk-Antelope reservoirs are separated by a major thrust, with combined initial gas in place ranging from 6.2 to 7.5 Tcf of gas with the Antelope structure accounting for about 95% of the resources.
The development strategy proposes the construction of 2 well pads with up to 12 wells, a Central Processing Facility (CPF), separate single phase gas and condensate evacuation pipelines and 2 liquefaction trains.
